Driving Directions to Captain Cates B&B From Bangor, Maine

• Heading North on Route 95, take exit 182, this is Route 395 toward Ellsworth.
• From Route 395 take the exit for Route 1A South toward Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. Ellsworth is 28 miles.
• In Ellsworth take Route 1 North to Machias. Machias is 60 miles.
• Entering Machias you will pass the Hannaford Super Market (on your left) and McDonald’s (on your right). Another .3 of a mile on your right is the University of Maine at Machias. At bottom of the hill past the university, follow Route 92 East.
• We are located 3.6 miles down this road on the right. Drive past the house (large gray and white Victorian with black trim) and barn and take an immediate right onto the side road. The driveway entrance is about 25 yards up this road.

• Follow signs in the Airport for Route 95.
• Take Route 95 South (this is entrance ramp #44).
• Go South on Route 95 (very short distance). Take exit 182, heading east, this is Route 395 toward Ellsworth.
• From Route 395 take the exit for Route 1A South to Ellsworth/Bar Harbor. Ellsworth is 28 miles.
• In Ellsworth, take Route 1 North to Machias. Machias is 60 miles.
